General Information About tour

Munnar is one such town in the Indian state of Kerala. Munnar not only is a beautiful hill station, but a tea growing town of Kerala as well. Numerous tea fields forms an irresistible green canvas as you drive up to the town. Cochin has emerged as the commercial and industrial capital of Kerala.

This lovely seaside city is flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. Its proximity to the equator, the sea and the mountains provide a rich experience of a moderate equatorial climate. Kochi is the arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity and beauty of Kerala, rated in the top three tourist destinations by the World Travel & Tourism.

Alleppey, extremely famous for its beautiful backwaters, the city of Alleppey in Kerala is also known for its beaches, temples and traditional boat races. This popular tourist destination also has some very well reputed Ayurvedic spas and wellness centres.Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, India. The Adikesava Perumal Vishnu temple is located at Thiruvattar.

The lord is lying on his snake couch and has to be viewed through three doors. Kanyakumari is famous for the temple of goddess Kumari Amman and Trivenni Sangam. The Suchindram temple near Kanyakumari has the deity Sthanumalyam. The temple is known for its quality of workmanship in stone and musical pillars. There is an Anjaneya, (or Hanuman), statue which stands at 22 feet and is carved of a single granite block.

Itinerary Details in tour

   DAY 1: CHENNAI_MUNNAR

  •   Departure from chennai and proceed to munnar  by Bus/cab.
  •   On arrival at munnar, check-in at Hotel.
  •   On the way  you can view nature of forests, mountains, hills etc.
  •   Munnar - one of the most popular hill stations in southern India known for its sprawling tea gardens on the way visit vallara and cheeyappara            waterfalls and     Blossom Garden.
  • Sightseeing destinations includes eravikulam national park (Raja Malai), mattupetty dam, spice plantation, eco point, rose garden, photo point, honey bee tree, kundale dam and top station.
  •  Rest of the day is at Leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 2: MUNNAR_COCHIN

     •   After Breakfast check out from the Hotel/Resort and  proceed to Cochin. 

   •   Check-in at hotel. proceed for Sightseeing destinations includes places like Fort Cochin, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, the Santa Cruz Basilica Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church and more. The Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets, Jewish Synagogue, Folklore Museum Thevara etc.

    •     Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city and beaches around you.

    •    Overnight stay at Deluxe Hotel\Resort at Munnar.

 DAY 3: COCHIN_ALLEPPEY 

    •    After a refreshing breakfast, drive to Alleppey and check in to Houseboat.

    •    Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats.

    •  While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy   fields,local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard.

    •    Overnight stay in the Houseboat/Resort in Alleppey.

     •   Overnight stay at Deluxe Hotel\Resort at Munnar.

 

 DAY 4: ALLEPPEY_KOVALAM

    •   Enjoy the hearty morning breakfast , Check-out from hotel and proceed to Thiruvananthapuram. 

    •   Check-in at Hotel/Resort.

     •   Later  proceed to Thiruvananthapuram Zoo ,The Napier Museum etc.

   •     Later visit Kovalam beach, located 16 kms away from the Thiruvananthapuram, is one of the most beautiful beach of Kerala. Three curve shaped beaches, alienated by stony outcroppings, from the major attraction of this coastal resort.

    •  Overnight stay at  Hotel\Resort.

 DAY 5: KOVALAM_KANYAKUMARI

      •       After a refreshing breakfast served onboard, check out from the Hotel/Resort and drive to Kanyakumari.

        •     Enroute visit the famous Thiruvattaru Adikesava perumal Temple-It is one of the 108 Divya Desams, the holy sites of Hindu Vaishnavisam and also visit the  temples of Suchindram.

      •     Rest of the day is at leisure.

      •     Evening enjoy the beach.

        .     Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

 DAY 6:KANYAKUMARI

      •   Enjoy heartly morning breakfast at Hotel

        •   After breakfast proceed for city tour of Kanyakumari. visit Vivekananda Memorial rock by boat (on direct payment basis) and Gandhi mandapam.

      •   Later visit the Kumari Amman Temple - This temple is dedicated to virgin Goddess Parvathi in Kanyakumari

        •   Rest of the day is at leisure.

      •     Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

 DAY 7:KANYAKUMARI_CHENNAI

     •     As the final day of your  Tour Packages comes to an end ,Later you will be transferred for journey back home.
