Nagaland became the 16th state of India on 1 December 1963. Agriculture is the most important economic activity and the principal crops include rice, corn, millets, pulses, tobacco, oilseeds, sugarcane, potatoes, and fibres. Other significant economic activity includes forestry, tourism, insurance, real estate, and miscellaneous cottage industries.The state has experienced insurgency, as well as inter-ethnic conflict since the 1950s. The violence and insecurity have long limited Nagaland's economic development, because it had to commit its scarce resources to law, order, and security.The state is mostly mountainous except those areas bordering Assam valley which comprises 9% of the total area of the state. Mount Saramati is the highest peak at 3,840 metres and its range forms a natural barrier between Nagaland and Burma.[11] It lies between the parallels of 98 and 96 degrees east longitude and 26.6 and 27.4 degrees latitude north. The state is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna.

DAY 3 : IMPHAL - MOREH - IMPHAL ( 110 Kms /3-4 Hrs one way)

- Leave early in the morning to visit the Indo-Myanmar Border Town of Moreh
- On reaching there we will cross over to the Myanmar side to see altogether a different culture and lifestyle in their nearest town of Tamu.
- There we will make a quick visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and the Local Market, then spend some time in the Namphalong market

DAY 4 : IMPHAL - ANDRO - KAKCHING - IMPHAL

- Visit Andro-The place is famed for its fireplace which is never allowed to get extinguish) 27 km towards east of Imphal is the ancient Scheduled Caste village of Andro, there is one Cultural Complex established by the Mutua Museum
- The place is a favourite picnic spot for the visitors these days.Later drive upto Kakching to visit the beautiful Kakching Garden.

DAY 5 : IMPHAL - KOHIMA ( 140 Kms /5 Hrs)

DAY 6 : KOHIMA - KHONOMA - KOHIMA

- After breakfast visit an Angami Naga Village – Khonoma village, 20 km / 1 hr, famous for its valour and fiercely independent mindset.
- Back to Kohima for lunch. Afternoon visit the II World War cemetery and the Kohima Cathedral.

DAY 7 : KOHIMA - IMPHAL-CHENNAI
- As per the KOHIMA Package, your final day will begin with a breakfast. Post breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for a journey back home.
