Darjeeling is also a district and spans over a large area of about 2,100 square kilometers. The district has subdivisions like Kurseong, Siliguri etc as well as the hill resort town of Mirik. So there are many lovely places to visit within Darjeeling hills itself. Within Darjeeling town area, you can walk to visit several tourist attractions. They offer both local sightseeing tours as well as point-to-point transfers.
Most famous tourist places include Darjeeling Himalayan railways, Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop, Japanese Peace Pagoda, Rock garden, Nightingale Park etc. You will see numerous sprawling tea estates in Darjeeling that produce world's best tea, as well as the amazing narrow gauge Toy Train.
Gangtok (the Capital of Sikkim) which is an only 4-hour drive from Darjeeling along with several other parts of Sikkim offer great destinations to easily combine with Darjeeling.Tourist places include Banjhakri Water Falls, Mt. Katao, Hanuman Tok, Kanchendzonga National Park etc.

DAY 1: CHENNAI - DARJEELING
- Departure from chennai Airport.
- Arrival at the Bagdogra Airport.
- Bus/cab will start Bagdogra Airport and You will be met by our representative\Local representative.
- Proceed to Darjeeling, the road journey onward journey enroute visit Pasupati Market (Nepal Border) and Mirik Lake (Natural lake) surrounded by Mountains and Pine trees.Once you reach Darjeeling, check-in to the hotel, and freshen up.
- Rest of the day at leisure or you can be spent around in the city, shopping and exploring the surroundings of historical moments.Take a walk on Mall Road and Chowrasta or visit the Nightingale Park (Shrubbery Park).
- Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay in Darjeeling.
DAY 2: DARJEELING
- Enjoy the hearty morning breakfast at Deluxe hotel.
- Proceed for the early morning tour to Tiger Hills to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Kanchanjunga Mountains(subject to clear weather). On your way back, visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery.
- After a filling breakfast, Proceed for the city tour of Darjeeling and visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Except Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Except Sunday), Japanese Temple, Gangamaiya Park and the Tibetan Handicraft Centre, Peace Pagoda and ropeway, enroute you will have a spectacular view of the Darjeeling Tea Gardens.
- The evening is free to spend at your leisure or other activities.
- Overnight stay at Deluxe Hotel in Darjeeling.
DAY 3: DARJEELING - SIKKIM(Gangtok)
- After breakfast check out from the hotel and Proceed to Gangtok - the gateway to Sikkim.Overlooking by Himalayan Ranges, Gangtok is a beautiful City. Buddhism is a major religion in this area.
- After a sumptuous lunch, proceed for sightseeing with a half-day city tour. This covers Do-Drul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom (Except Sunday), Rumtek Monastery, Ropeway Ride ,Shanti view point and the Flower Show.
- Rest of the evening can be spent around in the city, shopping and exploring the surroundings
- overnight stay at Deluxe Hotel in Sikkim.
DAY 4: SIKKIM(Gangtok)
- After breakfast, excursion to Tsangu Lake.
- In case, Tsangu lake is not accessible due to unfavourable climate conditions, we will visit Namachi Village, Namachi , meaning “Sky High”. Nestled among the hills at an elevation of 5,500 ft. it commands a panoramic view of the snow capped mountains and vast stretches of valley. Visit baba Mandir at the height of 13,500 feet.
- Overnight stay at Deluxe Hotel in Gangtok.
DAY 5: SIKKIM(Gangtok)
- Enjoy the hearty morning breakfast at Deluxe hotel.
- The rest of the day is free to explore this vibrant and colourful city.
- Rest of the evening can be spent around in the city, shopping and exploring the surroundings.
- After a lovely day, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 6: DEPARTURE FROM SIKKIM(Gangtok)
- As per the Darjeeling Package, your final day will begin with a breakfast. Post breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for journey back home.
